Casella Winery

Situated in Yenda, just outside Griffith in the Riverina district of NSW, the winery is home of the famous Yellow Tail label and is one of the largest wineries in Australia. The WTP has been constructed at a site approximately 2 km from the winery and includes:

  • Rotary screen and settling tanks
  • 30 ML Covered Anaerobic Lagoon (CAL) with biogas Flare
  • 6 ML SBR with 360 kW aeration, combination of diffused air and surface aerators
  • Sludge dewatering
  • 140 ML treated water storage dam
  • Treated water reuse pumps and distribution system

The treated water at Casella is used for landscaping and cropping.
